IN BRIEF | The AOAPrize

This week there was a lot of arm wrestling over the date for November's fourth annual AOAPrize. Should it remain on November 1 (a Tuesday), as is the tradition or should it move to the weekend of Friday, November 11 so that more people can participate? The advantage of the 1st is tradition, and that is a good thing but we've decided tradition doesn't supersede access. So the new date for the annual AOAPrize will be the evening of Friday, November 11. We will also announce the reader selected 2011 BFA honorees. We'll see you there, and we'll tell you where very soon.
